Very busy on this bright sunny day.  Last weekend I went to Las Vegas and took a Power Weekend to take a test  for  certification for Certified Medical Billing Specialist.  I received a 94 on the test ,this was great considering I have been focusing on my graduate studies. This certification will allow me to give my students their test in June.  Plugging away and having fun creating my website this weekend and working on a research paper.  My students will begin the computer simulation part of the course starting on April 30th, than off to their externships in May.

Teaching and Graduate School

Well I am in my 3rd week of teaching my first official class as a certified teacher.  I have a wonderful class of 11 women who are working hard to obtain Medical Billing Certification.  In Medical Terminology they had a perfect score on a test today!  We are all struggling with Medical Coding , but I am easing them through it.  School is about at the mid-point and going smoothly.  I am posting a picture of my class in my photos, check it out.

Topic: Introduction to Blogging
This is my first experience in the blogging world.  My son laughed at me when I told him one of assignments for my educational computing class was to create a blog.  He said the way I said "blog" was like I was doing this new thing that was never done before.  For me Business Education and technology was using an electronic typewriter vs. a manual one in the 70's! I am looking forward into entering this "new" world and I welcome you to my blog!
